| Mr Pip Mahony has been studying the Martial Arts for over 38 years with the last 30 years dedicating himself to the art of Aikido. Pip explains that he has been extremely fortunate to have been under the tutelage and guidence of Sensei Pat Stratford 8th Dan, One of the very few Westerners to have received the Emperors medal from Japan for his contribution to the Martail Arts. He is also grateful to Master Tanaka 9th Dan and Norio Tao 7th Dan for their insperation and guidence Pip Mahony always considers himself a student and its his love and passion for the Martail Arts that shines through everytime he is on the mat. Its this passion that has seen him teach and spread Aikido at seminars throughout the world. He has a relaxed and gentle way about him, but those who have been on the end of one of his Nikyo may not think so. |
